How does Direct Access Work
Direct Access gives you the opportunity to reduce your legal fees significantly by instructing an experienced Barrister from the very start of any proceedings where expert legal advice is required.
A change in the law means that you no longer need to use a Solicitor in order to get access to a Barrister. This means that you are fully involved in the decision as to which Barrister will represent you, and by cutting out the middle man, you can make savings whilst being in control.
Here at Direct Barristers Ltd we tend to find that due to the relatively new availability of direct access to a Barrister most people are unaware this service exists. This in turn means that most people are not aware of the many advantages of choosing the direct access route.
Following your contact with one of our friendly team, we will take you through your issues one step at a time. This will enable us to assess what area of law you require assistance with and allow us to consider who the best Barristers are to meet your needs.
We understand that everyone has different needs and we will try to ensure that you receive a service that is tailored to meet your individual requirements and budget.
Direct Barristers Ltd has access to experienced Barristers who are experts in their fields. They are able to assist and advise on nearly every legal issue that can arise in day to day life and in business, and can give you practical assistance with everything from drafting letters, writing contracts and how to deal with any type of dispute, as well as advise and represent you in court.
Whatever legal advice you require, we can get you the right advice from the right expert in virtually any area of law including but not limited to the following areas:
- Employment Law
- Personal Injury
- Clinical Negligence
- Divorce and Family Law
- Civil Disputes
By cutting out the middle man, namely the Solicitor, you will have direct access to a Barrister from the very beginning, thereby avoiding the fees you would have paid to the Solicitor under the old system.
Once we have identified what your needs are, we will remove the stress of identifying a first class Barrister and take full ownership of the matter. We will then make contact with a number of Barristers’ Chambers and get back to you, usually that same day, with the best options for you. This will allow you to make the best decision for your case as to who you would like to instruct, having discussed all aspects of your case with a member of our team.
